The installation process is a little tricky. In the first window, if you click the small arrow near the Next button, you can choose default scan, quick scan, or Early Warning Scoring.
The next step requires you select whether you want to create a copy of Hitman Pro, so you can regularly scan your computer, or perform a one-time scan.
The default scan takes a few minutes to complete, and here you can see any abnormalities found in your system. In our case, Hitman Pro found malware and tracking cookies.
A secondary scan (we chose Early Warning Scoring) managed to find another threat, but Hitman Pro was unable to identify it.
Viruses or other types of computer infections can be either ignored, deleted, quarantined, or reported as safe. A small description of the threat is displayed below each file, as well as the level of risk.
Unfortunately, Hitman Pro requires you to buy the full version in order to remove the threats, so we have no idea of knowing if it actually works or not.
CPU and memory resources are moderately used when scanning is active.
In conclusion, we would love to tell you that Hitman Pro is great, but seeing how the trial doesn't allow you to remove the infections (and yes, this is extremely disappointing for the users), we can't know for sure. But if you are curious enough to try Hitman Pro, the full version price is acceptable.
